The Account Director is responsible and accountable for the effectiveness of client relationships, formulation of ideas, the quality of the deliverables and the strategy and account resources across the business.
They are also responsible for the account teams under their supervision.
You will Provide strong leadership, direction and motivation to our account management team Act as single point of accountability for clients Be a strategic partner to clients in their digital activity Understand opportunities and challenges of clients markets Have a thorough knowledge of emerging technologies and digital trends and understand how these will effect clients Run creative ideas sessions with account teams and client teams Assist account managers in producing account plans and generating project and creative briefs Oversee and ensure the quality of client deliverables, e.g.
on time, on budget, on brand, on strategy and to defined standards Seek opportunities for additional revenue within existing key accounts and produce forecasts Look to secure annualised contract relationships (retainer) Build excellent relationships at a variety of client levels Support and contribute to tender writing activities.
Based in our Dorset office, the successful candidates will have BA degree or substantial experience in account management in an agency environment Strong digital media and or online marketing background Significant client experience with primary accountability for peer-level client.
