We are looking for a, medium weight designer with excellent listening and conceptual thinking skills, Good visual and creative skills suitable for the corporate financial markets and a sound understanding of using interactive mediums.
Knowledge of branding, communications, accessibility (including CSS, WAI, DDA), interface design and information architecture is essential.
Essential skills Strong design portfolio with 2-3 years proven track record of interactive work Excellent working knowledge and fluency with industry standard software, (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and MS Office software for Mac and PC) Flair for colour theory and understanding of palette choices, a comprehensive knowledge of typography fonts Excellent creative thinker with the ability to articulate creative ideas, and exceed the brief including creating scamps, storyboards and concepts Ability to produce high quality work quickly, accurately and to tight deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a small to medium sized team or on their own initiative Nice to have skills Good knowledge of hand coding XHTML CSS JavaScript Have had some exposure and understanding of MS SharePoint 2007 2010 A working knowledge of Flash ActionScript and video encoding for web a bonus Responsibilities To produce strong design creative work that is user experience focused and compliant with all accessibility guidelines and usability issues To ensure the visual tone, appearance and functionality and overall aesthetic of the.
